The course is for digital camera owners who would like to start taking good and interesting photographs of different kind. During classes participants will learn the possibilities of digital photography and digital editing. They will find answers to many questions such as: How long to expose against the sun? How to set a group of people to make them sharp in a photograph while the background remains out of focus? What to do with a memory disc that is full after we moved all the images to our computer? The author of the course is a lecturer from the Academy – Marek Dziedzic
Topics:
1.Digital camera: functions and construction.Types and applications. 3 factors responsible for my camera's quality. What is vital when we want to buy a camera.
2.Image:
- Main notions – exposure time, depth of field, Light measurement, focal lenght
- image composition
- common photography mistakes
- typical photography mistakes
- digital camera: extra functions
- supplementary equipment
3.Practical classes:
- landscape
- photojournalism
- children in photography
- practical classes in the studio and computer room
4.Editing, photography catalogue and databases

Classes are held twice a week (on Mondays and Wednesdays) from 6p.m. to 8.30p.m. The course is 20-hour-long
Graduates receive a certificate of Academy of Photography Digital Photography Course. There is no entrance exam. Recruitment proceeds according to the order of applications.
The number of free spots is limited for students' convenience.
The course fee is 760 PLN
